The worldwide smartphone shipment grew 33.5% YoY to 945 million units in 2013, with Samsung and Apple accounting for nearly 50% of the smartphone market, according to TrendForce. As for tablets, total shipments of branded and white-box tablets reached 190 million units in 2013, with a 31% YoY growth.
