After graduating from National Cheng Kung University, Dr. C.L.Liu obtained his Master of computing and doctor’s degree of Massachusetts of Technology (MIT) respectively in 1962. Later, he taught in MIT and University of Illinois, and then served as President of National Tsing Hua University from 1998 to 2002. Besides, Dr. C.L.Liu is also an internationally known scholar in computer information, who makes great contribution in the fields of real-time system, computer assistance designing, VLSI layout, optimizing combination, discrete mathematics, and he was once selected as Academician of IEEE and Distinguished Member of ACM successively, and the Fellow of Academia Sinica. Dr. C.L.Liu now is the Chairman of TrendForce, Honorary Professor of Taiwan Tsing Hua University and visiting scholar of City University of HongKong.

Duff has an research experience of 15 years, whose research areas lie in consumption electronics, traction battery, electric vehicles etc.. He has participated to make the Internationalized National Plan of 2020 Electric Vehicle Industry Settlement of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, and he mainly focused on the research of industrial technology, commercial model and policy making etc.
The host of the White Paper of 2015 Green Vehicle Policy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan in 2009.

Moreover, he has been sent to Advanced Technology Promotion Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan as a researcher. He was once the engineer of department of production management of China Motor Corporation, section supervisor of department of property management center of supplies department of Quanyou Computer Technology Co., Ltd, and currently he is the full-time assistant professor of Department of Aviation Management of Nankai University, and his teaching and research interests include technical management and supply chain management.

Howard joins Texas Instrument in 2012, as the Business Development Director of “OMAP” Business Unit, and later of “Processors” Business Unit. His team takes responsibility of business development, system application and field technical engineering support. In Nov 2015 Howard has been appointed as Director of China Central FAEs & System in Semiconductor Group, lead teams supporting Automotive Application Processors, Radar & Analytics application processors, catalog processors, Wireless Connectivity Solutions (Connected MCUs) and C2000 DSP’s system application development as well as nationwide field application engineering support in China.
